Founded on a tradition of excellence in family law
For more than twenty years, Attorney Gordon E. Stillings has committed his legal practice and energies to family law and to helping people with divorce, custody, support and family legal matters. He believes in family and family values and he takes great care to help people make the hard decisions for their present and future security, as well as their children and future relationship with their previous spouse. Gordon has long supported the values found in collaborative divorce law - working together to achieve the immediate need to separate people that cannot find peace together - and to do so in a manner with the least impact on children and the greatest outcome for the adult spouse. As well, he has litigated the most complex divorce cases, obtained shares of businesses for his clients, and turned the tables on what would otherwise be an unfair advantage to the other side. Gordon always represents the best interests of his clients and, whenever possible, will seek to accomplish his client's goals without nasty litigation. But when it is not possible, Gordon is perhaps the most formidable attorney in the Valley with years of experience on the bench deciding the very types of cases he represents every day.
Attorney Gordon E. Stillings is a certified collaborative divorce law attorney, a certified mediator, a private divorce and family law attorney and a Family Court Commission for Calumet County.
Attorney Melody Buchinger is a strong proponent of collaborative divorce, believing that both parties are much better off if they are involved in setting the terms of their new relationship. However, if divorce litigation is needed, Ms. Buchinger has more than 15 years of courtroom experience and will aggressively represent her clients and her clients' children's rights.
